About the Role:P & M LLC is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Amityville, NY! This is a hands-on opportunity to work on exciting fabrication projects where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will make a real impact. Responsibilities:- Perform TIG welding on a variety of metal components and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to execute fabrication projects
- Cut, grind, and shape metal materials using hand tools and power equipment
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts, frames, and structures to specification
- Inspect completed welds and fabrications for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a shop or industrial setting
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures
- Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus but not required
