Penmac Staffing is hiring for Fabricator, Welder, Electrical Assembler opportunities with a growing manufacturing company. - High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of fabrication experience preferred
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools and basic fabrication tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Prior Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and blueprints
- Perform grinding, welding, and assembly functions as assigned
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
- Maintain organized work areas and support overall housekeeping efforts
- Work effectively in a manufacturing environment and, when required, at customer locations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to perform repetitive manual tasks in a manufacturing environment
Schedule & Pay1st Shift
- Monday through Thursday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
2nd Shift
- Monday through Thursday: 3:25 PM to 11:55 PM
- Friday: 1:15 PM to 9:45 PM
- Pay: $22.00 per hour
