About the Role: KRB Machinery is seeking a skilled, full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our team on first shift. In this role, you’ll perform welding preparation, fabrication, and finishing operations to build high-quality products according to drawings, specifications, and work orders. This position is a great opportunity to be part of an employee-owned company (ESOP), where your contributions directly support the success of the team. Must have 5+ years weld experience.
What You’ll Do:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Weld complex components using MIG and stick welding, including horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
Fabricate machine frames, modules, and weld fixtures/jigs for repetitive production.
Operate hand tools, thermal cutting torches, jacks, electric cranes, forklifts, and straightening presses.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety regulations.
Be a dependable team player, working with supervisors and colleagues to ensure collective success.
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Graduation from a welding program preferred.
5+ (five plus) years of related welding/fabrication experience.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with hands and tools.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
Basic math and geometry skills for measurements and layout.
