Pay Rate: $28.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift

Description: General Labor Services is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our client in King George, VA:

The Welder/Fabricator is a hands-on position responsible for building rails, tacking forms, performing form maintenance and repairs, and supporting other fabrication shop activities to ensure quality precast concrete production.

Responsibilities:
Build rails and fabricate components to specifications.
Tack forms and perform form maintenance and repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with other fabrication shop duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and blueprints.
Experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

This position requires standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
