Job Overview
Performance Fab, a division of Fox Cities Builders, is currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will MIG, TIG, and Flux Core weld, as well as cut, braze, and fabricate metal components using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding, cutting, and brazing operations.
- Repair and fabricate equipment and structures using welding and flame-cutting techniques.
- Monitor and inspect welds for quality, ensuring components meet specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following company and OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment.
- Participate in safety meetings and required training sessions.
- Travel to job sites as needed for on-site fabrication and repairs.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in welding/fabrication; formal apprenticeship or in-company training preferred.
- Strong understanding of welding machines, tools, blueprints, and fabrication techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel, stand, and work in varying weather conditions.
