Chip off excess weld, slag, and spatter to deliver a clean, professional finished product.
Fabricate small items and build a variety of different assemblies using a wide range of metals, with the ability to build custom pieces without existing drawings or blueprints.
Safely operate heavy shop machinery, including brake presses, shears, and industrial saws.
Install plow lifts, hoists, body hoists, hoist cylinders, and lift axles onto custom vehicle assemblies.
Check driveshaft clearance to ensure proper spacing and mechanical functionality after structural modifications.
Install, route, and configure pneumatic and hydraulic controls and their corresponding components.
Ensure the proper routing of airlines and hoses to prevent wear and guarantee optimal performance.
Install wiring and various electrical components in alignment with assembly requirements.
Set up, adjust, and calibrate welding equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, such as replacing wire spools and changing out gun liners.
Safely operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts to move heavy materials and assemblies (when authorized and adequately trained).
Safely perform all daily duties; maintain a clean work environment and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, always wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
