SUMMARY

Fits and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assembly by performing the following duties. This is a 3rd shift position, that will include shift differential. Hours are Sunday through Wednesday 7pm to 5:30am.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Fit up parts prior to weld. • MIG or TIG various parts in different material types. • Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check quality requirements. • Personally, conduct all quality checks before moving to Quality Department. • Understand and interpret prints and technical drawings. • Grinding, sanding and cutting using a plasma cutter, as required. • Adhere to Lean Manufacturing initiatives, quality requirements and all safety programs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED. Demonstrated success is fit-up of parts to be welded. Math and blueprint skills. Self-starter, capable of completing task(s) with minimal supervision.
