Welder / Fitter

Our client in the Robinson/Coraopolis Area of Pittsburgh is seeking a Shop Pipe Fitter/welder

Duties:

- Lay out, assemble, and install piping, pipe supports.
- Work on related systems such as supplying natural gas, air, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for industrial kiln systems
- Use tools such as cutting torches and grinders
- Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures, such as kilns or gas trains, using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment
- Test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, bubble testing, observation, or other methods.
- Weld pipe supports to structural steel members



- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years" experience with the work described above is required
- Ability to weld on Pipe Supports and Structural Steel
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings/blueprints
- Ability to Cut & prep material to specifications
