- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques
- Assemble metal components and structures according to project specifications.
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
