Welder

Luxor Staffing is hiring Welders paying up to $28 per hour or more depending on experience! Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow General Work Instructions-Welding Fabrication.
• Proficient in assigned welding techniques.
• TIG weld stainless steel sheet, primarily 7 gauge through 14 gauge, as well as plate and tubing
• Interpretation of drawings, including weld symbols and interpret WPS’s.
• Weld Components in flat, horizontal, vertical, and up.
• Specializing in Equipment for the Single Use Biopharmaceutical Industry.
• Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, and aluminum.
• Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
• Conventional measuring instruments.
• Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Simple welding equipment maintenance.
• Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have prior experience!
• Ability to read a tape measure is required
• Successful completion of an internal welding test which includes 1G.
• Non-climate controlled
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• -Dirty and dusty
• Small seam welding
• Weld on stainless steel
• Must have prior experience in a steel industry.
