The MIG/TIG Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications. This position requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Fabricate and assemble metal components to customer specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools.
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and appearance standards are met.
Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
Communicate production issues and quality concerns to supervisors.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
