Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welder workers for a manufacturing company in Grand Forks, ND. What You’ll Do as a Welder:- Operate various types of welding tools and hand tools
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and heat numbers
- Follow standard work instructions, weld procedures, and acceptance criteria
- Utilize build boards and Kanban systems to support workflow
- Identify and report defects or inconsistencies in materials or equipment
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Support company quality and safety goals
What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role:- High school diploma or GED
- Some welding experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Basic computer skills (Windows, email, internet)
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math and reading abilities
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with or without accommodations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
