We are searching for qualified Welder's Helpers to assist welder with positioning, aligning, and fitting together pipelines for natural gas distribution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Hold and position pipe to assist in layout.
- Place and move blocking, braces, and jigs to hold parts.
- Hammer wedges and drift pins, and turn turnbuckles.
- Pull pry bars to align parts.
- Grind or chip rough edges, surplus weld, or scale.
- Transport and furnish welder with materials, tools, and supplies.
- Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current DOT physical
- At least one month related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or trade school certificate in related field.
- Commercial driver's license (CDL).
