Welder I

Pay Rate: $23 per hour - $25.00 per hour

Shift Timings: Mon thru Fri 2pm-10:30pm

Summary:

• Perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on repetitive and non-repetitive assemblies.
• De-burr, grind, and fit components prior to welding.
• Grind and polish finished elements as required.
• Block jig or position parts prior to welding.
• Assist other operators as directed/required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work from manufacturing information, bills of material, and written/oral instructions.
• Utilize manufacturing information to determine necessary parts/inventory and obtain materials from stock areas.
• Complete preparation work such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding of components.
• Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers; documentation/record keeping may be required.
• Operate spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG welder, MIG welder, and cutting tools.
