This position involves performing all welding functions with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment for castings, sheet metal, and repairs.
- Follow job operation sheets and complete moderate to advanced fitting and welding tasks.
- Obtain and maintain weld qualifications/certifications, including magnesium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Perform inspections using measurement tools, identify issues, and interpret drawings and weld schedules.
- Work independently, develop processes, and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Requirements include 5+ years TIG/GTAW experience, blueprints interpretation, aerospace welding experience, and safety compliance.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/sit for extended periods, and work in noisy environments.
- Pre-employment screening includes DOT/FAA drug tests and background checks.
Second shift hours are 3:30 pm to midnight, with approved overtime after midnight and a 10% differential.
