Seeking an experienced welder with 5+ years in TIG/GTAW, skilled in welding aerospace components including inconel, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
Responsibilities include setting up, adjusting, and operating welding equipment, performing moderate to advanced fitting and welding tasks, and interpreting blueprints and weld schedules.
Must obtain and maintain certifications for magnesium, stainless steel, and aluminum within specified timeframes.
Requires proficiency with measurement tools, attention to detail, safety awareness, and working in tight tolerances within an aerospace environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and tolerate noise is necessary.
Preferred skills include aerospace welding background and manufacturing experience; CWI certification is a plus.
Position is on second shift with a 10% differential, requiring pre-employment drug screening and background checks, and adherence to FAA safety protocols.
