The Welder II is responsible for laying out, fitting, and fabricating metal components to assemble structural forms in a mechanical environment. This role requires intermediate-level expertise in welding techniques, metallurgy, and interpreting engineering specifications. Key duties include performing tack and full welds, inspecting weld quality, reading blueprints, and operating precision measuring tools. The Welder II must demonstrate reliability, a willingness to learn, and maintain a positive attitude while working in physically demanding conditions that may include outdoor exposure and elevated workspaces.
