A client of 1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Fabricator/Welder to join their team in Harrison, OH. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing components from drawings, blueprints, and sample parts.

We are looking for a dependable self-starter with a strong work ethic, commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment. Overtime may be required based on workload demands. This is a day shift position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weld, fabricate, and repair components using drawings, blueprints, and sample parts.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members and internal/external customers.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain organized and safe work areas while ensuring security and efficiency.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of welding and fabrication experience required.
  • Must be highly proficient and able to pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in:
    • FCAW (3G & 4G)
    • GMAW (1G, including spray transfer on heavy steel)
    • SMAW (3G & 4G)

  • Experience operating brake, shear, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
  • Experience working in a shop environment utilizing SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes.
  • Heavy fabrication and repair experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Certifications & Licenses

  • Ability to successfully pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes as listed above.
