This Welder position involves performing MIG welding to high-quality standards, reading blueprints, and operating tools such as air-arc, grinders, and hand tools. The role requires layout and fitting of parts in various positions, ensuring safety and quality. Responsibilities include operating overhead cranes and forklifts, grinding, blasting, and lifting materials up to 50lb. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of welding experience or a welding degree. Skills include knowledge of welding practices, safety precautions, blueprint reading, and tool use. Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is preferred. The work is based at our Jasper, AL location, Monday–Friday, with guaranteed 40 hours and overtime as needed.
