Position Overview
This is a production TIG welding role working primarily with stainless steel and carbon steel materials. Ideal candidates bring a strong eye for detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a collaborative spirit. All applicants will complete a welding skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on thin stainless steel and thicker stainless/carbon steel materials.
- Collaborate with fabricators and fellow welders to meet production goals.
- Monitor and adjust welding processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished welds visually to confirm accuracy and quality standards.
- Safely operate hand and power tools commonly used in welding.
- Lift and maneuver materials up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program (recent certification acceptable).
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
