WelderWe are currently seeking skilled welders with MIG welding and metal fabrication experience for a client located in Kent, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for candidates eager to showcase their welding skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Hours:
6:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday Thursday
Overtime: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM on Fridays
Pay:
$21.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Set up and operate welding equipment; perform minor repairs as needed
- Examine work pieces for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to plan welding operations
Minimum Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6+ months of MIG welding experience
- Ability to pass weld tests
- Ability to interpret drawings and measurements accurately
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Capable of working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and working at heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice to Have Skills:- Certification in welding code standards
- TIG welding experience
Preferred Education and Experience:- 6+ months of MIG welding experience
- Welding certification preferred
Other Requirements:- Must bring a welding helmet for weld testing
- Ability to pass tape measure test with Emma at interview
- Work on-site at the Kent, Ohio location
