We are currently seeking skilled welders with MIG welding and metal fabrication experience for a client located in Kent, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for candidates eager to showcase their welding skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Hours:
6:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday Thursday
Overtime: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM on Fridays
Pay:
$21.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Set up and operate welding equipment; perform minor repairs as needed
Examine work pieces for defects and ensure quality standards are met
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to plan welding operations
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
6+ months of MIG welding experience
Ability to pass weld tests
Ability to interpret drawings and measurements accurately
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Capable of working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and working at heights
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in welding code standards
TIG welding experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
6+ months of MIG welding experience
Welding certification preferred
Other Requirements:
Must bring a welding helmet for weld testing
Ability to pass tape measure test with Emma at interview
Work on-site at the Kent, Ohio location
