As a Welder you will be responsible for creating a quality product while meeting production goals.First Shift: 6A-4:30P Monday-Thursday and mandatory OT when applicableThe following duties will be required but not limited to:Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to verify quality productionDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsOperate angle grinders to prepare/finish the welded partsAlign components using fixtures, calipers, rulers etc. and clamp piecesWeld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal)Set up/operate Robotic Welding cells.Provide continuous improvement feedback to help increase productivityRequired Skills:Experience using MIG and/or TIG equipmentExperience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothingAttention to detail with an emphasis on quality and production efficiencyMinimum Qualifications:Solid work history with past employers with minimum 5 years of experience overallAWS D1.1 certification or pass AWS D1.1 certification within 30 days of hireProficient in English
