Welding Technician | $18.00/hr + DOE
2nd shift 3:30p-2am, Sat 11a-5p
If you're passionate about working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this opportunity is perfect for you! Join a globally recognized company in the Lindsay area as a Welding Technician. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating various metal components, ensuring high-quality assembly, and performing modifications as needed for industrial projects. Work with a range of equipment including electrical panels, switch kits, motors, and more.
What you’ll do:
- Use MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques to assemble and fabricate metal parts based on blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect welds for quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
- Operate and maintain welding machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Work with engineers and other technicians to complete projects on time and solve any issues that arise.
- Must ne able to lift 50lbs
- Professional Certification will be a plus
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Deftness and attention to detail
What you’ll need:
- Knowledge of metal cutting and punching processes and equipment.
- Math skills including a good understanding of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and work with a variety of personalities and individuals.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
What you’ll get:
- $18.00/hr + DOE
- Weekly pay – every Friday
