Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Madison, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Read and understand blueprints, geometrical call outs and weld symbols
Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments tanks and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet
Perform welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys including carbon steel galvanized steel stainless steel and aluminum
Hand layouts of weldments
Use fixtures gauges and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications
Assist with creating work instructions
Complete the first piece in process and final inspections using calipers height gauges protractors and tape measures
Analyze weld processes and recommending process improvements
