Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced TIG & MIG welder for our manufacturing client in Brown Summit, NC.1st shiftCandidates MUST HAVE TIG & MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.$20 to $24hr DOEDirect Hire!ResponsibilitiesWelder may perform machine weldsWelder may perform circumferential assembly welds.Weld with solid sheet to solid sheet (with or without perforations).Weld solid sheet to sintered laminate.Weld sintered laminate to sintered laminate.Welder may complete BackwashesWelder may perform shearing and forming processes associated with the preparation of materials for welding. Performing post-welding activities such as forming, swaging, grinding, drifting, and inspection.Welder will inform supervisor or group leader of any problems with manufacturing instructions, drawings, processes or product.Welder will maintain a safe work environment, cleaned daily and organized.Welder will adhere to all safety and attendance policies, procedures, and work rules.Welder will clock properly and on the applicable job/operation per procedure.Welder must be able to read applicable design drawings and follow manufacturing instructions.Welder must complete the Inspection Instruction/Record and properly tag materialWelder must be able to utilize measurement instruments (tape measure, dial caliper, pin mic, go-nogo gauge, pi tape, etc.) as required.Welder should be trained and certifiedWelder should be certified to perform specified welding tasks as applicable. Recertification is required on an annual basis.Welder must adhere to manufacturing ordersQualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.2 or more years of TIG & MIG.
