Seeking experienced Mig/Tig welders for a custom metal fabrication shop in Durham, NC. Pay ranges from $35–40/hour based on weld test results. The role involves precise fabrication and assembly of architectural handrail systems, requiring cosmetic-grade finish quality. Responsibilities include fabricating from blueprints, performing multi-process welding (Mig, Tig, spool gun), fitting components to tight tolerances, and finishing welds to architectural standards. Must have Mig/Tig experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to pass weld tests and drug screens. Preferred qualifications include aluminum and stainless steel welding, spool gun proficiency, and experience with railing or staircase fabrication.
