We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on a variety of metals and components. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and work instructions.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.
Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials according to specifications.
Grind, polish, and finish welded components as needed.
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with fabrication, production, and quality teams to meet production goals.
Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, noise, heat, and moving equipment.
