Welder-Fabricator
Pay: $18–$25/hour, based on experience and skill level
Location: Near New Lebanon, NY
Schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

The Role

Are you a highly skilled Welder-Fabricator ready to take on complex, custom fabrication challenges? This is your chance to move beyond repetitive production and apply your mastery of welding and custom fabrication to create high-quality, precision components that drive innovation for municipalities across the Northeast and companies around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Expert Welding: Utilize MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques on various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, to ensure strong, clean, and structurally sound joints
Precision Fabrication: Cut, bend, fit, and assemble metal components to exact specifications using a variety of shop equipment
Blueprint Mastery: Translate complex engineering drawings, structural layouts, and weld symbols into tangible, high-quality finished products
Maintain Excellence: Perform routine preventative maintenance on welding equipment and uphold the cleanliness and safety standards of the shop

What You Bring to the Table

Welding Expertise: Proven experience in multiple welding processes (MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, Stick/SMAW) and metal types
Fabrication Tools: Proficiency in the setup and operation of shop equipment such as press brakes, shears, plasma cutters, and oxy-acetylene torches
Measurement & Layout: Strong ability to use precision measurement tools, tape measures, squares, and perform accurate dimensional layouts
Technical Foundation: Strong ability to read and accurately interpret work orders, blueprints, and material specifications, coupled with solid shop math and geometry skills

Nice to Haves

• AWS or similar structural welding certifications are a definite advantage
• Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes for moving heavy materials
