Now hiring an experienced Structural Steel Flux Core Welder for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in a production steel shop. This role is best suited for an intermediate-to-advanced welder who can read shop drawings, identify weld symbols, set up equipment to procedure, and consistently perform 1G and 3G vertical-up FCAW on carbon steel in a quality-driven environment.

Pay & Overtime:
$22.00–$30.00/hr DOE
Flexible overtime available throughout the year
2nd shift schedule, typically 4: 00 PM–2: 30 AM, Monday through Friday
What You’ll Do:
Weld structural steel beams, columns, and assemblies
Perform FCAW welds on carbon steel, including 1G and 3G vertical-up
Read shop drawings, identify weld symbols, and follow weld procedures
Adjust welder settings to match procedure requirements
Measure, inspect, and self-check weld quality before QC review
Use grinders and power tools to prep and finish steel
Requirements:
5+ years of structural steel welding experience preferred
Strong FCAW experience on carbon steel
Able to read structural shop drawings and weld symbols
Able to set up, troubleshoot, and perform basic welder/feed maintenance
Comfortable working safely around overhead cranes, torches, and grinders
Welding certification preferred
Must be dependable, safety-focused, and quality-driven
Pre-hire drug screen required
