Responsibilities
Perform high-quality Flux Core (FCAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel, pressure vessels, piping, and fabricated components.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
Prepare materials for welding by grinding, fitting, and cleaning surfaces.
Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
Operate welding machines, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
Previous welding experience required.
Flux Core (FCAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding experience required.
TIG (GTAW) and Submerged Arc (Sub Arc/SAW) experience is a plus.
Must be able to read a tape measure and interpret fabrication drawings.
Experience in structural steel, pressure vessel, or heavy industrial fabrication preferred.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Weld Test Requirements
Must successfully pass a hands-on weld test before starting work.
Candidates who pass the weld test will be paid for the test.
Candidates who do not pass the weld test will not be paid.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and work for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be physically capable of working in a hot fabrication shop environment.
Ability to perform repetitive welding tasks throughout the shift.
