Welder
We are searching for an experienced welder at our Portland, OR facility.
This role is perfect for a candidate who just received their welding certification or has less than 1-2 years for experience and is looking to be a part of an amazing team!
Responsibilities include:
- Setup machines to exacting specifications and prepare machines for production
- Operate various projection welding machine setups
- Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing
- Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy
- Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees as well as end user
- Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets and closer reinforcements
Qualifications include:
- Must be proficient at reading work orders
- Must have a concern for quality control
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
