    Snapshot of Your DayThe Welding Specialist performs the welding of Industrial Gas and Steam Turbine Components for the manufacturing of the New Parts Process Department with minimal supervision, adhering to manufacturing and customer requirements. Join us in shaping the future of energy at Siemens Energy! This will be in Rural Hall, North Carolina. How You Make an ImpactAssemble and weld first-time or reworked industrial gas turbine components, including rings and vanes.Perform structural or cosmetic welding for small parts components.Read and interpret travelers/documents to gather work instructions and ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications.Set up welding stations and machinery to perform welding tasks effectively.Select the proper weld wire in accordance with product specifications.Conduct in-process inspections of parts to verify quality and conformance.What You BringEvidence of a High School Diploma or GED is required.Ability to perform basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the use of formulas, charts, and diagrams.Successful completion of a certified welding curriculum resulting in a vocational diploma or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG).Proficiency in one of the following welding processes: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (ARC) and capability to set up and operate related welding equipment for specified applications.Ability to pass a practical weld test using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) application.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
