Rev up your welding career by joining our dynamic manufacturing team as a Permanent Welder! We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry, committed to innovation, quality, and excellence. We are currently seeking a seasoned Welder with a strong background in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Shielded FCAW welding, Grinding, and Quality Control. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Welder, your responsibilities will include:

1. Utilizing various welding techniques such as SMAW and FCAW to assemble manufactured products according to specifications.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans to understand the welding requirements.
3. Grinding and finishing workpieces to ensure smooth surfaces and meeting quality standards.
4. Conducting quality control checks on completed projects to ensure they meet the required specifications and safety standards.
5. Maintaining accurate records of all welding activities and regularly inspecting equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot any issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Welder position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in welding, specifically with SMAW and FCAW.
2. Proven experience in grinding and quality control.
3. A thorough understanding of welding equipment, tools, and procedures.
4. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. A professional certification in welding from a recognized institution would be an added advantage.
