Hours:
1st Shift, 07:00 AM 04:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay:
Pay is based on experience; rate is $0.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various metal components and assemblies
Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet strict quality, strength, and structural standards
Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and drills as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in MIG/TIG welding within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Ability to pass a hands-on welding test
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing shop environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional welding certifications or training
Experience operating fabrication equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior welding experience in a manufacturing setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work on-site at the Salem, OH facility
Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment
