Our warehouse pallet racking solutions are used in major installations for many Fortune 500 companies.We are looking for Welders to join, repair, and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques while ensuring safety and structural integrity. Duties include reviewing job-work orders, blueprints and technical drawings, measuring and cutting metal to specifications, and using welding techniques to join metal parts together. Welders will inspect and test welds for quality, maintain weld equipment, and apply knowledge of metallurgy to ensure proper fusion and structural reliability. This position will work closely with team members implementing safe, LEAN processes and embracing continuous improvement in the workspace. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform welding in a proficient manner utilizing various welding techniques
- Interpret shop drawings, including weld wire symbology.
- Implement knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and galvanized metal.
- Utilize conventional and precision measuring instruments
- Implement process inspection, certification, and documentation as required.
- Maintain welding equipment
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Inspect and test welds for quality, and to ensure proper fusion and structural reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and training
- Keep a clean workspace incorporating LEAN processes
- Adherence to workplace safety regulation, including wearing required PPE at all times on the shop floor

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION: - High School diploma, or equivalent preferred
- Welding Diploma or applicable years of experience in a welding environment
- Successful completion of an internal welding test
CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: - Working knowledge of blueprints, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the metal fabrication industry.
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters
- Understanding of standard measurement tape
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Willingness to cross train in other areas
