Overview

Duties/Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned

• Able to operate and maintain Electron Beam machines in a safe, stable condition. 
• Able to gain understanding of vacuum, electronic, computer, and high voltage electrical systems. 
• Able to work with motion control technology, servomotors, motor drivers. 
• Able to set up and maintain CNC equipment. 
• Physically able to move heavy components with the aid of cranes, forklifts, and other employees. 
• Able to predict processed material’s reaction to high energy beams. 

Job Skills 

• Communicate with CNC equipment via switches, servo levers, and keyboards. 
• Able to read, understand, and write part programming in G Code Machine Language. 
• Execute instructions from job cards, weld schedules, part prints. 
• Loading/unloading of machines, operate start-up and shut down routines, perform lock out/tag out procedures for machine maintenance. 
• Change machine component configurations, change out filaments, 
• Execute welding, brazing, and heat treat programs.  

Education and Experience Required 

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Welding experience in other processes is desirable.
•  Availability to work flexible hours

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Quick learner
• Team player and work well with others
• Good communication

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb stairs, push/pull/ lift/or move up to 50 pounds
