Pay Range: $31 - $42/hour (based on experience)

CCS Construction Staffing is seeking experienced Welders for a long-term, full-time opportunity working primarily in a fabrication shop environment. This position is ideal for welders with stainless steel, TIG, orbital, and arc welding experience who are looking for stable, consistent work.

Position Overview:

This role will focus on prefabrication welding, with approximately 90% of work performed in a shop setting. All tools and equipment will be provided - candidates simply need to bring their experience and skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding on stainless steel piping and materials
• Execute TIG, orbital, and arc welding as required
• Complete prefab welding work in a shop environment
• Read and interpret basic drawings and welding instructions
• Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience
• Experience with TIG and stainless steel welding required
• Experience with orbital and arc welding preferred
• Ability to pass a hands-on weld test
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable and able to work full-time hours

Project Details:

• Full-time position with long-term stability (estimated 2+ years)
• Majority of work performed in a shop environment
• All tools and equipment provided by the client

Compensation:

• $31/hour for entry-level (2+ years experience)
• Up to $42/hour for highly experienced welders
• Overtime opportunities may be available

Hiring Process:

• Initial virtual interview (Teams) with recruiting team
• Second interview with Shop Manager, including a weld test
• Offer extended following successful evaluation
• Start date typically within 1-2 weeks after offer

• No certifications required
• Local candidates preferred
