Job Description
This role performs high-quality welding in a manufacturing environment, working from blueprints, rework instructions, work orders, and engineeringorders. The welder follows written and verbal instructions, contributes to the production of precise and durable products, and supports continuous improvement across the product line. Robotic welding experience is helpful and attention to detail and efficient time management are essential.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, rework instructions, work orders, and engineering orders to complete welding tasks accurately.
  • Produce high-quality welded products that meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Focus on details and manage time efficiently to meet production schedules and manufacturing plans.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate work and support continuous improvement across the product line.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure production goals and individual accountability are met.
  • Use proper lifting techniques at all times, including correct hoist usage and requesting assistance when needed to ensure safe material handling.
  • Keep the work area neat, organized, and clean to support safety and efficiency.
  • Wear proper safety gear as required, including welding helmet, gloves, shields, and steel-toed boots.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first attitude and actively contribute to an injury-free workplace.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on the production floor.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Experience with steel welding.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communication skills with coworkers and production staff.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and consistent use of PPE.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with robotic welding.
  • Experience with fabrication work in a manufacturing setting.
  • Skill in grinding and finishing welded components.
  • Familiarity with various welding tools, equipment, and hoists.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet production targets.

Work Environment
This is a manufacturing and welding shop environment that requires consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, shields, and steel-toed boots. The role involves working with MIG welding equipment, steel materials, grinding tools, and hoists for safe lifting. Shifts typically run Monday through Thursday, with available schedules such as 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, providing a four-day workweek structure. The workspace emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and a strong safety culture, with a focus on maintaining an injury-free workplace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
