Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in or around Spokane, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Welding materials (mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum) based on blueprints
- Inspecting welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints
- Setting up and operate welding machines, including turning on equipment and adjusting settings
- Operating forklift as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate quality or machinery issues to management as they arise
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency in shop math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to determine material types and gauges
- Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs
Preferred:
- AWS D1.1, D1.6, D1.2 certifications
- Ability to use shop tools (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches)
