Welder

Summary:

Will be TIG welding anodized aluminum and mill finish aluminum to create the end product.

Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing aluminum parts and structures using welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of safety procedures and welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure, cut, and fit aluminum components
• Inspect welds to ensure strength and quality standards
• Operate grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools
• Maintain welding equipment and work area cleanliness
• Follow OSHA and workplace safety regulations
• Repair defective welds and metal components as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous aluminum welding or fabrication experience
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
• Welding certification preferred but not always required
