Job Full Description

Welder - Manufacturing / Fabrication

Location: Westchase, FL (33626)

Pay:$18-$25/hr, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMNo overtime

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a manufacturing and fabrication team. The ideal candidate has experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, or stick welding, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding depending on project needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components
  • Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
  • Grind, cut, and prep materials for welding
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements
  • Previous welding experience required
  • Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, tools, and materials
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Welding certifications (MIG/TIG/Stick)
  • Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication
  • Ability to operate grinders, saws, and other shop tools
  • Basic knowledge of metal finishing and inspection
