Welder

Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company specializing in retail and storage rack systems, is seeking a Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Welder, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the fabrication and assembly of steel components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Taylor, MI

Pay Range: $19–$20/hour

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform flat MIG welding on steel materials to create durable components
• Fabricate and assemble retail and storage rack systems with precision
• Maintain high quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process
• Assist with general shop duties as needed to support team productivity
• Participate in weld testing to ensure skill proficiency and quality standards

What's Needed?

• Prior MIG welding experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with training are encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass an on-site weld test conducted Tuesday–Thursday mornings
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs safely and consistently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to reliability
• Personal protective equipment including helmet/face shield is recommended for weld testing
