TIG Welder Job Duties:
- Repair castings by replacing metal in defective areas using approved welding processes
- Review inspection documentation, rework instructions, and tech cards
- Identify and prepare areas requiring weld repair
- Perform welding using GTAW to meet process and quality standards
- Inspect completed welds to verify proper metal deposit and accuracy
Schedule:
- Training Schedule: Monday through Wednesday, 12-hour shifts (Day Shift)
- After Training: Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour shifts (Swing Shift)
Pay: $32-$43 per hour, depending on experience and weld test results
TIG Welder Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and follow detailed specifications or work instructions
- Ability to lift and maneuver 30 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Strong organization and attention to detail
