Job Title: Welder

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: $25-29/hour 

Job Summary of the Welder: The Fabrication Welder will be responsible for welding large and small weldments. Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed, read prints, and pass a weld test. Produce all parts as per blueprint requirements in a timely manner to meet production schedule. To keep work area clean and organized. This is a first shift position, and pay is commensurate with experience. Subject to a drug screening and background check.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of theWelder:

·         2+ years of experience in welding in a Manufacturing environment.

·         Ability to read blueprints.

·         Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions and decimals.

·         Must be able to utilize various measurement tools, including but not limited to square, angle square, calipers, and tape measure.

·         Use of wrenches, air tools, handheld grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling, and frequent lifting required.

·         Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 pounds.

·         Ability to stand / or be on your feet all day.
