Weekend Shift/Full-Time: Friday through Sunday - 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, get paid for 40.0 hours.
With experience, make up to $27.45 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential for working the Weekend Shift.
Summary
Performs welding operations on a standard and repetitive line of weldments and structures following prescribed procedures.
Essential duties and Responsibilities
Within defined welding procedure specification (WPS) ranges, adjust and regulate machines to obtain best possible penetration, fill, weld quality and performance, making adjustments to allow for variations and conditions.
Fit and position weldments having a number of parts using welding fixtures and jigs and/or etching, or without fixtures, jigs and/or etching if the weldment has less than five parts or is a repeater weldment.
Dimensional and alignment requirements controlled or not controlled by fixtures and by instruction on technique.
Requires use of limited technique and basic welding fundamentals and certification in GMAW.
Use rule, square, protractor, templates and fixed gauges.
Work subject to process and final inspection and test.

Minimum Physical Requirements
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel as well as talk and hear.
Regularly is required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
Regularly required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of welding principles and techniques
One year technical college diploma or certificate in welding, preferred but not required
