We are seeking a Welder for the aerospace industry in Windsor, CT (full-time, 1st shift).
Job Summary: Responsible for manual TIG, CNC TIG, and EB welding of aerospace components, ensuring quality, precision, and ISO compliance. Key tasks include blueprint interpretation, welding, inspection, and production support.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing weld joints and performing various welding operations
- Inspecting tools and documenting work
- Maintaining quality standards and supporting safety and housekeeping
- Supporting equipment maintenance and process improvements
Work Environment: Aerospace manufacturing with a focus on precision and quality in a team-oriented setting.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of TIG welding, blueprint reading, and welding procedures experience
- 1+ year of documentation, communication, and ISO standards familiarity
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification to WD-001
- Ability to pass reading tests
Preferred Skills: CNC TIG, EB welding, lean manufacturing, and aerospace experience.
