Welder

Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Summary:

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on both repetitive and non-repetitive assemblies.
• De-burr, grind, and fit components prior to welding.
• Grind and polish finished elements as required.
• Block jig or position parts prior to welding.
• Assist other operators in their work as directed or required.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform work from manufacturing information, bills of material, and written or oral instructions.
• Utilize manufacturing information to determine necessary parts, inventory, and jigs/fixtures.
• Obtain materials from stock areas.
• Complete necessary preparation work such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding of components.
• Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers, with documentation or record-keeping as required.
• Operate spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG welder, MIG welder, and cutting equipment.
