Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Set up welding machines and equipment for optimal performance.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving welding-related issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Welding certification is a plus.
