Ready to keep complex welding systems mission-ready?
If you thrive switching between meticulous shop prep and on-the-ground field support, this role is for you. You’ll ensure welding, gouging, and blasting equipment is maintained, calibrated, and deployed safely and efficiently—at our warehouse 70% of the time and at industrial sites the remaining 30%.
Pay & Schedule
- Base pay: $20–$27/hour.
- Field rotations: 7/12 schedules with straight time, overtime, and double-time on Sundays and Holidays—significantly boosting total earnings.
Does this sound like you?
- Do you keep equipment inventories tight, logs accurate, and tools in top condition from unload through project closeout?
- Can you set up and install overlay systems so crews work safely and efficiently with clean, orderly workspaces?
- Are you confident tuning equipment to run within safe parameters and quality specs?
- Do you collaborate with welders and NDE staff to demonstrate best practices and proper equipment positioning?
- Will you jump in to support craft teams, assist with repairs/testing, and contribute to fabrication R&D?
- Can you uphold safety regulations and quality expectations while hitting productivity targets?
- Are you diligent about checklists—accounting for gear, tagging defects, and reporting issues promptly?

- Prolonged standing/walking; climbing ladders and scaffolds; bending/stooping; pushing/carrying; moving equipment up to 100 lbs.
- Confined, noisy areas with higher temperatures and humidity.
Where You’ll Work & What You’ll Use
- Warehouse, shop, and field sites across industrial facilities.
- Company vehicles, laptops, cell phones, radios, potential heavy equipment, and a broad range of industry tools.
Travel Requirements
- About 30% travel—domestic and international (USA, Canada, and other locations) based on project demand.
- Current U.S. Passport and valid driver’s license are strongly recommended.
- Travel is mandatory when field work is needed.
Plus Ups
With training/certifications, you may also perform NDE activities (VT, PT, UT thickness) on weld samples and projects.
